FOR EDUCATORS
“sMiles is colorful, fun, and not overwhelming for students or teachers. It motivates students by allowing them to reach success at every step, which is one of the main reasons it is so effective.”
Rich set
of teaching materials
The sMiles program comes with a wealth of printed and digital resources, all of which are designed to support an effective learning process. Teachers will find that their classes are well-structured, with activities to keep students engaged, as well as repetition and self-learning to encourage retention.
Our YouTube channel provides colorful video resources for in-class activities like hand actions, student read-alongs and sound-letter associations. In addition, the channel also has teacher resources such as webinars about phonics, literacy, and recommended instructional and assessment strategies.

love sMiles!
I am currently working with a secondary student with a significant language-learning difficulty. He has worked toward grasping phonics for years, and it has left him frustrated, which was understandably detrimental to his emotional wellbeing. In the three months since starting with the sMiles program, his progress has boosted his confidence, resulting in a positive impact on his participation in the classroom and his interactions with his peers.

Reading and writing in English is challenging for most non-native English speakers. Learning phonetic language skills goes a long way to overcome these challenges. The sMiles program uses various novel techniques to teach phonetic sounds in a systematic and manageable way.
